SUSIJAT is a band comprised of four boys, all in their mature years and some of them with quite a solid music experience behind them. Lazar Darkovski has played the drums in String Forces; Dean ZMejkoski guitar in KLO; Nikola Drvoshanov the bass in the Jazz O’Nick project; and would be only Borko Hadzievski debuting with Susijat. “Safety in Numbers” is their debut album, a complex and mature work that does not hold onto simply single stylistic references. Hearing them for the first time, you may connect the album with the American punk rock from the early 90s, however “Safety in Numbers” is much more about being fresh and authentic.
